Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
We are once again planning to have a singing school in Houston this summer.
It will be held at Grace Primitive Baptist Church the week of June 16
through June 20, 2008. We invite all that have the desire to come be with
us, and also ask an interest in your prayers.
In years past, there has been a wonderful amount of interest in and support
of this effort from brothers and sisters from many of our sister Churches.
We have been so very thankful for this support, and give our Lord the praise
for your generosity. We sincerely hope that the singing school has been a
great benefit to all that have attended, and to the Churches they
represented.
Some have asked how they may give donations for the benefit of the singing
school. Donations are always greatly appreciated, and if you desire to send
a donation now to help defray the initial costs that go into planning you
may send it to either Paul Smith or me at the address below. Please make it
payable to Grace Primitive Baptist Church, but include a note that it is for
the singing school. The cost of holding it last year was around $5,000 and
of that over half was spent in the months and weeks prior.
There are RV hookups on the property. If you are planning to bring a Camper
or RV, please contact one of us so we can adequately prepare for everyone
that needs these spots.
We are again anticipating a wonderful week of fellowship, of learning, and
of singing praises to the Lord. Please pray that the Lord will bless our
efforts, and that all of the praise, honor and glory be to His Holy name.
